Team of Equals

Last week I had the pleasure of accompanying a group to visit the incredible Team of Equals in Jerusalem. The Team of Equals brings together Jewish children from West Jerusalem and Palestinian children from East Jerusalem to play football together. The team is a joint partnership between Hapoel Katamon and the Beit Safafa Football Academy, and is sponsored by Kick it Out Israel. Everything is run on the basis of full equality and joint decision-making. No other Israeli team is run like this. It was a great pleasure to see the team in action and I wish them the best for the future!
