Alternative Spring Break

Last week, I had the honour of guiding Columbia Barnard Hillel's Alternative Spring Break to Israel. It was a fantastic trip, which included a visit to Rawabi, jeeping in the Golan, a tour of Jerusalem, and high profile speakers like Ami Ayalon, Dan Shapiro, and Tzipi Livni, There was also time for fun and partying, including a great night out celebrating Purim at Jerusalem's Machane Yehudah market. In the above picture I am eating a delicious stuffed malawach, which you can definitely sample on one of my food tours!
