Meeting the Legends

Last week, while guiding in the City of David, I had the pleasure of running into a man who has actually excavated the site, Ronny Reich. In collaboration with Eli Shukron, Ronny identified the Pool of Siloam, the street leading to the Second Temple, and additional elements of Warren's Shaft, helping to solve the mystery of ancient Jerusalem's water supply. I'm glad to say that he agreed with everything I told my tourists!
