To the Green Valley
It's always a pleasure to get off the beaten path and head to some of the lesser visited sites in Israel. Over Pesach, I took a family to Wadi Ara, just north of the Green Line separating Israel from the West Bank. We had a lookout over the area from the top of Umm el-Fahm, visited the village of Barta'a, which is situated on both sides of the Green Line, and visited Amna Kanane, an inspirational activist to works for Jewish-Arab cooperation and women's rights.
